Graduate Student Awarded Fellowships

NDRL Graduate Research Assistant and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student Jeff Christians has been awarded two fellowships through programs at the University of Notre Dame. The first is The Patrick and Jana Eilers Graduate Student Fellowship for Energy Related Research. Combined with The Fitzpatrick Endowment for Excellence for the Center of Energy, the fellowship provides funding for a graduate student stipend to enable his or her work on a current or new energy related research project at Notre Dame.

The second fellowship awarded to Jeff was The Bayer Predoctoral Research Fellowship through the Center for Environmental Science & Technology (CEST).  Recipients of this fellowship have passed his or her comprehensive Ph.D. exams, is a candidate in good standing for the Ph.D., and their doctoral research is relevant to the environment.
