Professor Prashant Kamat from the Radiation Laboratory will be presenting at several conferences in June. He will be presenting "Quantum Dots to Perovskites. Tuning Semiconductor Nanostructures for Light Energy Conversion" at the Nankai International Conference on Solar Energy Conversion in China. He will be presenting "Visualizing Halide Ion Mobility in Metal Halide Perovskite Films through Photo and Thermal Effects" at the SISF Conference in Seoul, Korea. Professor Kamat will also present "Stalking Halide Ion Migration in Lead Halides Perovskites" at the ICMAT Conference in Singapore.…

Sylwia Ptasinska of the Radiation Laboratory and Physics departments is among the twenty University of Notre Dame faculty members that have received the Rev. Edmund P.Joyce, C.S.C., Awards for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.
The Joyce Awards, established in 2007, are supported by a gift from the late Father Joyce’s classmates of Notre Dame’s Class of 1937. They honor faculty members who have had a profound influence on undergraduate students through sustained exemplary teaching, and, in particular, recognize professors who create environments that stimulate significant student learning, elevate students to a new level of intellectual engagement and foster students’ ability to express themselves effectively within their disciplines. …
Professor Kamat Serves as Keynote Speaker
Professor Kamat will be doing several presentations during the month of February. He is traveling to New Delhi, India, to be the keynote speaker for the Conference of Hybrid and Perovskite Cells, being held from February 4th through the 6th at the Indian Institute of Technology. While in India, Professor Kamat will also deliver the C.N.R. Rao Distinguished lecture at the annual meeting of the Chemical Research Society of India in Chennai. He will also be traveling to Jerusalem, Israel, for the nanoGe Conference on Perovskite Solar Cells, Photonics and Optoelectronics (NIPHO19).…
