Professor Kamat has been invited to present at several events this fall. He is giving the Key Note Lecture at Orcas: International Conference on Energy Conversion & Storage this September. His lecture is "Light Energy Conversion with Quantum Dots and Perovskites." He has been invited to lecture at the 12th JNC Conference being held in Trivandrum, India later this month and the GIAN Lectures on Novel Functional Materials for Energy Conversion at the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka in October. The latter two lectures are "Mixed Halide Lead Perovskites. Tuning the Excited State Chemistry with Halide Ion Migration." Professor Kamat will also be speaking on "Lead Halide Hybrid Perovskites as Efficient Light Energy Harvesters" at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
