VIDEO: Notre Dame Radiation Laboratory

Author: James Gilman

The Notre Dame Radiation Laboratory (NDRL) is a premier venue for research in radiation chemistry and solar photochemistry. Led by Ian Carmichael, Director of NDRL and professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the laboratory aims to enhance knowledge, understanding, and utilization of the effects of ionizing radiation on chemical systems.

With support from the Division of Chemical Sciences within the Office of Basic Energy Sciences at the U.S. Department of Energy, NDRL offers opportunities for international impact through worldwide collaborative innovation, as well as education for the next generation of radiation chemistry researchers.
